If the printer works correctly, follow the steps below to check printer with QuickBooks and in turn fix QuickBooks Printing Issues:
1. The first step is to find the QuickBooks Qbprint.qbp file and replace it. After replacing, check if the problem is resolved.
2. If the problem is not resolved, try printing any of the company files. If the file is printed correctly, it is possible that form template, customized report or company data is corrupted.
3. Open the company files again and attempt to print the file in standard or default template. It the printer is unable to print, it is recommended to try rebuilding the QuickBooks company data and fix the problem with company file. After fixing the data, try to print again.
4. Sometimes larger batches may also lead to printing issues. Try single form or small batches to see if it resolves the problem
5. In case the printer had none of the QuickBooks Printing Issues with the same company file try following steps:
a. Switch off the printer and try to restart the system and printer to see if it fixes the printing issue.
b. Open the QuickBooks window, go to “Printer Setup” from the file menu, and verify the printer settings to be correct.
c. Click for help to see more details about printer settings.
6. Try reinstalling the drivers for the printer and update to the latest driver.
7. If the above steps are unable to fix the printing issues, it is better to reinstall QuickBooks.
